AC-STB Assistant – Mobility with Tablet-PCs
AC-STB Assistant is predominately used by clinic personal to enter patient data using
Tablet-PCs. The functionality auf AC-STB Assistant surpasses those of the PDA version and is used
whenever the extended functionality is required - it is essentially a version of AC-STB Doc "on the
go".
In clinical routines AC-STB Assistant is often used for ward rounds during and after
which extended data is recorded.
Synchronization
While AC-STB Assistant can maintain an entire database copy of its AC-STB Doc server, it is
neccessary to synchronize it with AC-STB Doc in order to save back any updated or added data. The
synchronization process can be conducted via network, thus possible over a potentially present WLAN
infrastructure.
